Marjorie was wonderful. We stayed with her for three days and felt so at home! She was really quite helpful with suggesting places to eat and then making our reservations! Breakfast was so deicious and filling. We enjoyed sitting in the kitchen and chit-chatting with her as she cooked. We also had a great hike up the mountain to the lock! Truely a pleasure in the woods! Oh, and the down on the very comfortable bed!

From the first meeting with Marjory at her wonderful home, to sadly having to leave. I can honestly say we've never been made so welcome in a B&B.

Don't be deterred by the forested road up to the B&B. Once you have arrived, you won't want to leave!
Marjorie truly is "the hostess with the mostess"; nothing is too much trouble. Our breakfast was more than plentiful, and as a fellow guest put it, "Marjorie doesn't do "cutting back""!
The B&B is in a very peaceful setting, surrounded by woodlands, and the beds were extremely comfortable.We had a great night's sleep.
Marjorie was more than happy to offer advice; she even helped us plan our next day's drive, and her recommended route was fantastic.
Even though we only spent one night, it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland.

I spent two night at Marjorie's last September. It was my first trip using B&B locations. Upper Hatton was the I liked most. Having breakfast at the table in the kitchen together with the other guests, talking about what we've done yesterday and where to go next, while Majorie is baking eggs was an experience we'l never forget. The surrondings so calm and beautiful let forget the bad road to serenity. If I ever get back to scotland, and I'll try, this place will be on my list
