We stayed here for 2 nights mid January. The hotel was warm and staff friendly and helpful. We were in room No1 on the first floor, I must say it was not the best of rooms, the floor was very much on a slope allthough it was clean and warm. The bathroom was adequate with bath/shower but could do with an upgrade. We ate in both days we were there and had no complaints about the food or service-in fact breakfast was the best we have had in a hotel for a long time. Dinner both evenings were good with a great choice and big helpings. Room 1 looks on to the high street and the traffic can be quite annoying early in the mornings as there is a sawmill farther up the valley and the trucks seem to start early. We would stay again but in a different room. The dining room was being decorated when we were there so we ate in the bistro section

We stayed in the Atholl Arms a Friday / Saturday, overall a good experience, this is an old building with lots of character some areas of the hotel would benefit from an upgrade however to be fair they are currently renovating.

Our room was on the first floor (note there are no lifts) however the staff were very helpful and took our bags up for us . The room was very clean and tidy the bed large and comfortable the bathroom was brand new with an electric shower all very clean and modern, the hotel supplied the usual tea and coffee in the room, we had a nice view of the river Tay

The lady on reception performed what I would say was above and beyond the norm and a credit to the hotel. Meals were taken through the bar and were of good quality with plenty of choice with something for every taste, and good value for money. The bar had a welcoming coal fire and was busy but convivial and again the staff were very friendly.

Breakfast was very good the staff could not have been more helpful lashings of coffee tea and toast and a good selection of foods

The hotel has a car park across the road (about 20 meters away) Dunkeld is not a huge place but there are some interesting shops in the village the surrounding countryside is spectacular.
Booking out was quick ... overall a very pleasant experience

We've just returned from a weekend break and have now recharged our batteries.
The staff including Jill and Alan were extremely attentive and welcoming.
We ate at the hotel both nights and the meals were excellent.
I particularly enjoyed my corn fed chicken with choriza and my warm bacon and avocado salad!
We stayed in the Victoria suite and I have to say of all the hotels I have stayed in, nothing comes close to this for the WOW factor! With a massive room overlooking the water we felt totally spoiled.

I stayed here for several weeks last year for work and was made very welcome and disappointed to leave, very friendly staff, clean rooms, food and service is a good standard. Would happily go back.
