Spent a weekend with friends in the fabulous surroundings of Kinnaid house. Fantastic room with en-suite bathroom larger than many hotel rooms we have stayed in, amazing public rooms- enjoyed a glass of champagne in drawing room, prior to dinner (bring your own wine, dinner by arrangement). "gentlemen" retired to billiards room after dinner! A must-stay in Scotland.

We spent two nights at Kinnaird House last week as part of a trip to the UK, and wish we could've stayed longer. Steve and Jo were attentive and friendly, the house and grounds are stunning and our rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed hours by the fire in the lounge.

We stayed for two nights at this wonderful B&B where our family of four had two beautiful rooms for very reasonable rates. No longer operated as a fancy hotel, it still has the great feeling of an exclusive, rustic estate. The grounds were beautiful, and great views of the valley from the rooms and breakfast room. Breakfast was delightful. Wonderful hosts. We'd highly recommend staying at this place.

We thought this place looked beautiful from the photos on their website but we were awestruck when we drove up the long drive through the lovely grounds to find this palatial estate. We were met at the door by the hosts and brought to one of the two grand sitting rooms and served tea and shortbread by a roaring fire. Our room and bathroom were huge and elegantly decorated, and the bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent. We stayed two nights but wish we could have stayed longer. The hosts, Joe and Steve were very nice. The grounds are beautifully manicured and there is a nice little walk through the grounds to a ruined castle nearby. Also, the estate is right on a Loch which I imagine is very pleasant in nice weather.
The only thing that was less than perfect was that since it is really out in the country it takes a while to drive to the nearest restaurant or pub. They weren't serving dinner the nights we stayed but I would recommend eating there if you're lucky enough to be staying on a night they are cooking. All in all we found it to be a very enjoyable experience.
