Absolute highlights of this hotel are the ladies at check in desk and in breakfast room. Both ladies are very helpful, polite and efficient. I have also appreciated breakfast with plenty of local delicacies and the fact that the hotel offers access to Internet without any additional fee.
Sadly, I would avoid this hotel in the future because the room was poorly cleaned, bathroom has only tiny shower, beds are very basic (rather army style) and the floors are laid with some cheap linoleum. It's a shame that such a beautiful historic building with plenty of period features was restored to such a low standard. The rooms reminded me more hostel places than 4 star hotel.

We had not booked this hotel but read about it in a guide book and decided to go and check availability. The building was very nice with a big winding internal staircase.

They had a room which suited us fine for a short stay. The bathroom was very small but that wasn't a major issue. Big plus points for us were that the hotel had free wifi accessible on all floors and also free street parking right outside the hotel. We managed to get a space most of the time but they are limited so you need to get in quick or be lucky with your timing.

The 'hammam' spa was not what I had expected - I had a massage which was nice but the acual facilities were not hammam - there was a moldy smelling steam room and a luke warm jacuzzi, this was a shame as I was really looking forward to it.

Staff were helpful and the breakfast was an ample selection of many different types of food to suit all tastes which was nice.

Its in a very good, central location and were were able to walk everywhere we needed.

Considering its location (beside the busy Egnatia Str), the rooms were surprisingly quite due to the properly insulaed windows. In general, the hotel provides exactly what one would expect at a location that it is in (the old business district which is now a bit run-down)- basic but comfortable rooms and a safe environment. The staff was very friendly and the nice eating joints near the harbour are a leisurely ten minutes walk away. Plenty of night-time pubs and cafes around. The breakfast is adequate but simple , and perhaps could be improved in terms of both the quality of offd and the setting.

A nice hotel, but very friendly and efficient personnel. For the breakfast, could do better than the not-so-concentrated juice. But overall everything is Okay, centric, not far from the sea, what else?
