This is by far the worse hotel I’ve been in lately. Four stars??? This is a bad joke! I’ve stayed in much better 3-stars and even 2-stars hotels all over the Greece.
Our room overlooked an extremely busy, noisy street, with discos, bars and cafes, I couldn’t sleep the whole night because of the loud music, cars and motorcycles. You have to be either dead drunk or to wear earplugs to could rest. Parking in the area was a nightmare and the nearest parking (charging 13 euros per night) is 2-streets away - if you have luggage, it won’t help you at all.
The hotel is old, the rooms are smelly, dirty, nothing is working properly – the towels and the curtains were grey, the furniture was ancient, the mirror was spotted, the refrigerator and TV did not work at all. The receptionist was friendly and helped us to put our stuff in the hotel’s refrigerator but this doesn’t helped us a lot. The fridge was more like an empty minibar, very tiny. AC was very noisy. Breakfast was quite poor and the breakfast area is very cramped.
Thank God we had to stay only one night, but even so it was a horrific experience! A place to be avoided!
