My partner and I stayed at the Bardis Sun B Apartments last year, it was our first time to Arillas in Northern Corfu and we had a very pleasent 11 day break.
Arillas itself is ideally suited to couple or those with young family's, I wouldn't recommend it if you were planning on going on a boys holiday or if you had older children with you, apart from some pool tables around the bars and hotels, there's very little to do except chill. Eating out is not a problem with a whole host of tastes catered for, we both are big fans of Greek food and the restaurant's do more than just tourist moussaka with Corfiot specialities a big feature. Our favourites were Kostas on the Beach (oddly situated on the beach front..) and forgive my spelling, Boulakis - down along the main street, away from the beach - both of them were execellent.
The Bardis itself is well maintained and kept with a large pool area that, while busy, didn't feel crowded. A family run establishment, your made to feel welcome throughout your stay and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. My only criticism and this could me a misunderstanding on our part, is there was a feeling on occasion of being alienated if you didn't spend any money round the pool side bar. We like seeing different places and would drop by for a drink every couple of days or so, not all the time. It may have been misintepreted, but, as a result, there was a sense of being slightly ignored, or not favoured amongst other guests - paranoia perhaps but it was something we both commented on. When it came to getting a room extension on our day of departure, this was done with a rather extravagant flourish, much sighing and umming befoe saying it wouldn't be a problem - the impression of being done a massive favour was evident, despite the 30 Euros I handed over in return.
All in all though, a nice place and don't let my comments put you off, its a nice hotel and resort to chill out in. We won't be back though.
