Corfu has yet to get the All inclusive under its belt. If you plan to put on any 1lbs this is not the hotel for you. Breakfast could not be any more basic. The room we stayed in was large and very clean. Lucky for us we were at the back of the hotel with a lovely view of the pool and the pool bar that was never open. The pool was warm and kept very tidy. Yes you may get bitten, but they are nothing like we get in England. My husband and daughter suffer quite badly when bitten at home but in Corfu they may bite alot but they dont itch as much. This is not a hotel for British families. Apart from the first week we were the only one's and that was only because a family lost thier holiday because of a holiday company that went bust. The reason I write we were lucky to be at the back is because the young Itlains get the ferry across, hire mopeds and ride up and down Ipsos bepping horns from dusk till, whenever they go to sleep, but thats not untill they run around the hotel banging on doors and shouting untill three in the morning. There is a self catering hotel called Yanis that is full of english people and the meals are very nice and much much cheaper than the sea front. Corfu has some wonderful sights to see by bus or sea but make sure you have money before you set off as some of the smaller bays have problems with ATM'S and there is no other way of getting money once you are there. Back to Ipsos Beach hotel. If you are all inclusive you have to ask for a drink that will come in a warm glass as they constantly run out of them. There is ice cream for the kids but they have to be under 14, yes there are toasties but you can only have them if your a child. If you do decide to go here and you go all inclusive, if you have a night flight you will be told at 8 oclock that your all inclusive is at a end even though you have paid for meals and a room before you even arrived. Having said that if you ask if there is a curtisy room they are more than pleased to give you a key so you can have a shower before you travel or you could just pay 15 euros, we asked first. this is a place for young Italians, very few young English people and they will try and rip you off if you go clubing. We spoke to a young lad who was there with his mates, he was not a happy bunny.
