The hotel itself was in a nice place right near the beach the food was not very nice and the word all inclusive I dont think they got the hang of you are not allowed drinks after 11 which is bad and also you get told to shut up by other people shouting off there balconys if they dont like noise they should keep there door shut invest in some ear plugs or better still hire a villa holidays are for drinking having fun and enjoying yourself why should we all sit in silence also a good fry up wouldnt go a miss there we dont all enjoy rabbit food and a bit a muesli and yoghurt for brekki but i will say we met some great people and would def go back to corfu just maybe not this hotel

“I would not reccommend this place to anyone!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2010

I stayed there with my partner for my birthday and when we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was rude to my partner and took our passports to 'check it' over night, which I am still confused as to why. The room service lady walks into your room after knocking approximately twice! although there was not a sign on the door asking for service. There is also several flies playing on uncovered plates on a daily basis and also around the uncovered foods. Do not expect Greek foods as you will only get a small option every now and then. The foods are extremely salty and the drinks are either too sweet or dont taste like what you ordered. Two cats will come around every dinner time begging for food. Also you are expected to finish up drinking by 11pm and keep your noise down. Im not being funny but this is a 'holiday' supposedly. You may also hear banging from the kitchen in the morning or vehicles passing up and down the side of the hotel from time to time. The television in the room only has foreign speaking channels maybe one English channel. To sum it up, this is not a place for young English people as there are several oap's and German's giving English people weird, disapproving looks!!

The hotel is Ok but that 2 english hooligans drinking all the day were a black spot on our vacantion. Drinking over limits at the bar area, under our balcony, every day and especially every night, laughing in a special style...just for fun and just for geting nervous the other tourists...and the conversation was so poor...after every 2 words the third was f..k. Cause thees two id...iots....theese animals...theese garbidge of the nature's eror...shame on you guys...sorry for the really english people

“would never stay here again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2010

the receptionist was rude when we arrived and our rooms weren't ready. the pool was o.k but nothin fantastic. i dont know his name cause he never spoke to u but the barman that was on during the day was rude and lazy. when you asked him for a drink it was like he didn't want to give you it.

dinner lunch and breakfast were poor quality. Plus there was not much to choose from and nearly everything tasted like salt at lunch and dinner. and there was flies in the dining room landing on the food, trays and plates, disgusting. they never changed the tablecloths on the dining room tables during our stay. And they were covered in stains and food from the days before, not acceptable and unhygenic.

The only areas that were nice was the bar area and the grounds of the hotel

“Not a hotel we would go back to”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 August 2010

Corfu has yet to get the All inclusive under its belt. If you plan to put on any 1lbs this is not the hotel for you. Breakfast could not be any more basic. The room we stayed in was large and very clean. Lucky for us we were at the back of the hotel with a lovely view of the pool and the pool bar that was never open. The pool was warm and kept very tidy. Yes you may get bitten, but they are nothing like we get in England. My husband and daughter suffer quite badly when bitten at home but in Corfu they may bite alot but they dont itch as much. This is not a hotel for British families. Apart from the first week we were the only one's and that was only because a family lost thier holiday because of a holiday company that went bust. The reason I write we were lucky to be at the back is because the young Itlains get the ferry across, hire mopeds and ride up and down Ipsos bepping horns from dusk till, whenever they go to sleep, but thats not untill they run around the hotel banging on doors and shouting untill three in the morning. There is a self catering hotel called Yanis that is full of english people and the meals are very nice and much much cheaper than the sea front. Corfu has some wonderful sights to see by bus or sea but make sure you have money before you set off as some of the smaller bays have problems with ATM'S and there is no other way of getting money once you are there. Back to Ipsos Beach hotel. If you are all inclusive you have to ask for a drink that will come in a warm glass as they constantly run out of them. There is ice cream for the kids but they have to be under 14, yes there are toasties but you can only have them if your a child. If you do decide to go here and you go all inclusive, if you have a night flight you will be told at 8 oclock that your all inclusive is at a end even though you have paid for meals and a room before you even arrived. Having said that if you ask if there is a curtisy room they are more than pleased to give you a key so you can have a shower before you travel or you could just pay 15 euros, we asked first. this is a place for young Italians, very few young English people and they will try and rip you off if you go clubing. We spoke to a young lad who was there with his mates, he was not a happy bunny.
