“Best Budget option in Mykonos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2010

Paradise resort is the wonderful place if you like to party and spend lazy day on the beach. Whole place become active in the evening when lot of people from every part of the city pours in and party till 2:00am. Paradise resort is best in terms of beach and budget accomodation. There is a mini market close by which serve all type of needs .We stayed in Twin Huts priced at 56 Euros/night which is very very basic (no A/C, no fan, No service). This is place is best if you go in group.

Don't miss little Venice area in the City and windmills. You can also rent ATV/Bikes at very cheap prices. I feel this is the best Island on cyclades or Greece.
I sugguest to don't look too much for budget price in Mykonos because everything else is very expensive as compared to Paradise beach resort.

“good spot...but that's about it”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2010

Definitely the best place, location wise, to stay in Mykonos to be close to the beaches and the action. We stayed in the beach cabins which were quite poor, little shacks on bricks with two single beds and a bedside table - quite prison like in fact! Very hot and with only a little window as ventilation. The are in the dirty sand, so the walk back from the shower just leaves you needing another one!

It was cheap to be so close to the beach, however this is then negated by how expensive it is to eat and drink there (10 euros a cocktail) and since there is not much nearby, you don't have many options. The buses into town are across the road, however they get so packed we waited over an hour to finally get on one.

While it is a good spot to stay, I'd pay more for better sleeping accommodation and if anyone is thinking of camping there, don't - it looked third world!

“Great place for backpackers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 August 2010

Beach is on your door stop. Accommodation can be fairly basic depending on what you choose, but you get a pretty good idea what you'll get when you're booking it.

“Great location, right on Paradise Beach"”

My biggest complaint about this hostel had to do with our experience getting back to the airport. We were told that there is a shuttle to the airport, which sounded very helpful. The morning of our flight, we stood outside with other people with luggage, and got on what looked to be an airport shuttle. About 20 minutes into the drive we realize we're going to the ship port, and not the airport. When we tried to ask the driver about the situation, he got very angry with us and told us we were supposed to get on the shuttle next to this one; neither of them were marked. All in all, cool place to stay, but just double check on which shuttle you're getting on.

“Great Hostel”

My buddy and I stayed here in june and we had an amazing time. Mykonos is my favorite greek island. We stayed 2 days 3 nights and it wasnt enough. The resort is awsome. stay in the beach bungalow we still havent stop telling our friends about it. It was about $28 per night we had two beds and our own bathroom with shower..(the shower is inbetween the toilet and the sink so u can imagine the condition of the bathroom after a shower) but the price is worth it compared tot he price of the double room. We showered, changed and slept in the room so who cares what it looks like. Our room was steps away from the beach and there is a huge bar and a 2places to get food. The paradise beach club has parties either once or twice a week and they r worth going to. Everyone stumbles to and hangs out on the beach once they close so that was awsome watching the sun rise trying to sober up. Definately go into town to Scandinavian bar. We were there over a weekend and it was really good and from what other people told us it was kind of dead during the week. But the disco plays great music all night. The bus to take you to town is at the entrance tot he resort and comes every hour but stops at midnight s u have to cab it back. There is a place to get food by the bus stop which makes awsome gyro's for cheap. And the store next door where u by bus tickets is a great place to meet other people from the resort who r waiting to go out. Everyone hangs out and drinks waiting for the bus and we wound up meeting up with people later on in the night at the clubs that we met at the stop. Definately rent a scooter or quad and go around the island it is worth it. Its a 10-15 bus or cab ride to town or the port so dont listen to other people if they say its out of the way. Its worth staying.
