Stayed in one of the studios here for 6 days in Sept 2008. Sougia is a great location for exploring the south coast of crete - the Samaria Gorge and Elafonsia are day trips. The studios are clean and tidy, well decorated and presented, and have a well equipped kitchen - they are in the centre of the town only 2 minutes walk to the beach. The owners who run the shop downstairs are really helpful (sort out boat trips for you if you ask) and the whole experience for great.
