“"Great Relaxing Holiday"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

Stayed at Olga Beach in July 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The apartments were spotless and so was the pool and surrounding areas. The beach was lovely and clean and it was only a few yards from our apartment. We hired a car from Nikos' brother whose shop was just at the front of the apartments and he does a good deal if you are staying there. We went to various places including the beautiful Elefonissi beach with the pink sand (well worth a visit). We had our lunch several times at the Olga and it was very good especially the calamari. It was that good we have just booked to go back in June 2012 and can't wait.

“great holiday!”

My partner and I have just come back from a week away at Olga - we had a great time! Nikos and his family are just great! Lovely bar, pool and beach area. The air con and safe were not that expensive unlike some other places in Greece! Perfectly located for beach, restaurants, mini markets etc and not too far a walk to the old town and the next door livelier part Plantanias. Rooms were great - we stayed at the back of the hotel so its was quiet and peaceful. Rooms could have been serviced a bit more - i.e. swept a little everyday - or at least left us with a broom! But other than that I cannot fault the place! Fab :) will be coming back!

Room Tip: towards the back of the holtel - not rooms 11 or 10!

“Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 September 2011

These are amazingly situated studio apartments - the name doesn't lie, they really are on the beach!
The rooms are equipped with all you'd need, there's a nice little pool but it's all overshadowed by the beautiful beach.
The little bar does great snacks and cocktails, perfect for lunch or a quick pre-dinner drink.
It's family run and you can tell, they are all very welcoming and friendly. Part of the family also runs a car hire place in front of the apartments & they'll cut a deal to guests at Olga :)
I really can't wait to go back next year, it's a little Greek paradise!

“Such a nice clean place”

Quick late deal holiday, used Olympic Holiday website and saw this place. It does what it says on the can. Its right on the beach, extremely clean, lovely family and convenient for buses to Chania. Beach beds 5euros per day for 2, air con a bit dear at 50euros per week but necessary. If you want to book trips to Elafonisi, or Gramvousa or the gorge go to Elafonisi Travel in Chania its at the top of the main road down to the harbour. Trips half the price of Olympics and identical and they will pick you up in Aghia Marina along the road from the Apartments. The little sightseeing train is quite good we went in the evening on the Orange Valley ride you can book across the road at the Motorbike Hire Shop. Chania is lovely but gets very hot and busy we went 7-30 am on the bus and had a lovely walk round the harbour followed by breakfast overlooking the boats. Then shopped and wandered up and down the narrow streets before getting the bus back at lunchtime. You will need about 15 euros per head for a meal excluding drinks so it is not cheap, a beer is 3 euros. But we had a fab week and came back tanned and chilled

Room Tip: rooms lovely and clean front rooms a bit noisy but if air con on and windows closed you don't no...

“Great - hope to be back”

Excellent little block of appartments - exceptionally clean. Great pool big enough for the apartments, right on the beach so best of both worlds. We were lucky and got Room 1 which is probably about the best for views in the block. Might have been a bit disappointed if we had got one over looking the road! The appartments were cleaned 6 days a week. Only problem was had to wait 2 hours for the room when we got there at about 4pm!!! Bus service is excellent only 1.60 euros to Chania which is not a long bus ride and certainly worth going to. Hope to return for a relaxing holiday sometime. Plus the tavernas and restaurants were fairly cheap and never had a bad meal. :-)
