“Comfortable”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

As part of our Island hopping tour with Trafalgar, we stayed three nights at this hotel. Very comfortable and clean hotel but some floors are not updated. On our first two nights we stayed in a somewhat older room on the first floor which had terrible finnishings. Bathroon was great and very modern. On our final night we stayed on the fourth floor and our room had obviously been updated and was very nice. The hotel has a very nice pool and excellent restaurant which faces the Acropolis. If you are having supper they light up the Acropolis in the evening and dim the lights while you are eating, great view. Surroundings are somewhat questionnable and I would not recommend walking around in the evening. We attended at a local restaurant about a 10 min walk south from the hotel and didn't feel that safe getting therre, and that was before dusk. I'd suggest a taxi if out and about for supper.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room first, some floors have obviously been updated.

“Top-floor sushi restaurant/bar is exquisite!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 January 2012

I haven't stayed at the Park Hotel (which has just become a member of the Radisson Blu hotels) but as I have just been invited for dinner at their top floor sushi bar, I thought that my great experience is worth mentioning. The food was simply delicious, top-quality and freshness, the litchi mojito was superb and the ambience, interior design and FANTASTIC views of the Acropolis rock and the Lycabettus hill are marvellous! I am glad I had the chance to be invited as this will become one of my favorite sushi spots for the 2012 spring time. Reservations are required if you are not a hotel visitor.

“Nice and pleasant hotel”

Very nice hotel and the lobby area is exceptionally good! We really enjoyed our coffees next to the fireplace! The receptionist were very helpful and they were kind enough to allocate us to a renovated room in the 4th floor as requested. I am also a Manageress of a hotel and every little detail is a plus for me. The only slight minor problem is that the renovated rooms have some scratches in the furnitors, bare in mind the rooms where renovated in 2010 and the bathroom should have been more modern and also there is no bathrobes in the room as advertised in their website. Overall a pleasant stay and it will be our first choice when we will visit Athens again in november.

“Beautiful hotel, wish the location was a bit better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

The Park Hotel has been beautifully renovated with so many details taken into account. The entire hotel has a "park/outdoor" theme; even the lobby has a scent of woods that matches the decor. We stayed in a suite for our honeymoon and loved it! The pool area is beautiful with views of the Acropolis and the surrounding area and the breakfast is top notch!
The staff is very friendly and helpful and made a special attempt to recognize our honeymoon.
The only downside to this hotel is its location.
It's about a 30min walk to get to the old town/plaka area and you do walk by some scummy bits; but we walked everywhere and it was fine for us, though we wished the area was a bit better. It is quite close to the National Archaeological Museum.

Room Tip: The suite was amazing! Tons of spacious room and a huge shower with bench. Highly recommend the suit...

“A great experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 January 2012

I have used the facilities of this hotel several times doing business in Athens. I liked the fact, that the hotel is in the center, the view to Acropolis from the Restaurant, the parking facilities and the staff. The rooms are very comfortable, offering all the goods of a 5-star hotel ! The restaurant is a gourmet one with nice international kitchen, very qualitative and with great view of the Acropolis by night. The Breakfast couldn t be also less delicious, as it offers several kinds of Coffee, warm and cold options of food, and many types of drinks as well. The nearby area isn t something special, but a taxi( which are really cheap in Athens), would be advisable,as the public transports are a little complicated at night. As Conclusion, I liked this hotel, and I never had any problems with my stays, so 5 Stars from me !!!
