We stayed here for two nights at the end of June 2011 and only booked this hotel because we had a small dog with us. Whereas the hotel was very accomodating regarding the dog, and this was good, I'm afraid to say the hotel itself is probably the worst we have ever been near. The rooms ranging from basic to shoddy, with terrible showers and permanently running water in the toilet bowl. However the high point for us was the ant infestation on the first night. We woke up after a bad nights sleep due to the noise from some party downstairs to find thousands of ants running about the room. We moved room and it got better, but as we were leaving the next day we found hundreds of ant inside our hire car, and spent the journey back to Lisbon killing them. The fight between skinheads on the forecourt on Sunday has been completely forgotten as it technically wasn't to do with the hotel. Do yourself a favour, book somewhere else.

Very cheap for the presented conditions.

1km away exists a Golf next to a beautiful beach. Totally unexplored, virgin, natural.
A true oasis in this zone of the country.

Can you imagine: August, in a desert beach... All quiet... Nobody around you... Very very good!!

The room was very spacious, with an enormous terrace with sun during all the day.
The WC was totaly equipped.
I know that smaller rooms exist, ask for a great one! The decoration of the rooms is very simple, but it enough!

I also recommend the food. Very good.
