The Ibis Hotel, Braga, is a mid-range, no frills, but comfortable and serviceable establishment. It is particularly well-placed, just off the main square and within very short walking distance of tony shops, as well as the city's major historical and cultural sights, and excellent restaurants. For 51 Euros we got the basics--comfortable and quiet room with a good bed, tv with a few English channels, a small balcony, usable bathroom, and excellent service from the front desk personnel. We also paid an additional 6 Euros for on-site parking. The only shortcoming was the absence of free wi-fi in the room. It was available in the lobby, which also had a computer for guest use. If you want to save money and stay in the best location in Braga, the Ibis Hotel is a great option.
