What a lovely surprise in my first stay in the area on business - relaxed, home comforts with a real touch of class. No en suite, but a wonderfully deep and inviting bathtub, with varied and out of the ordinary reading material in the bathroom and living area. Puts a smile on your face as soon as you enter, and you're still smiling as you're thanking the hosts on the way out. terrific accommodation, amazingly comfortable bed, and fantastic food - its saved in my sat nav for future trips!

We stayed for three nights on a house hunting trip. Anne and Kevin were wonderful hosts, offering helpful suggestions and are very knowledgable about the area. The home reared eggs at breakfast were the best we have ever tasted. Toast was hot and plentiful as was the tasty porridge with lots of extras available. With numerous choices all beautifully presented it was a pleasure to eat here. We also enjoyed Kevin's Thai lamb curry as a last minute supper order, again wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble and we would recommend, without hesitation this restful and scenic accommodation. Thank-you.

We stayed for one night and were made very welcome by hosts Ann and Kevin (who look like just retired Hollywood romantic stars!). This is a very relaxing place to stay with fresh air, peace and tranquility. The rooms are beautifully furnished and Jake, the host's pet whippet is adorable. Breakfast is a delight with the rare opportunity to try a blue shelled egg from Ann's own flock.

We arrived on a cold dark evening to be greeted by Anne and a hot cup of tea and cake. The Mills' have a wonderful home which you are invited to share. The accommodation is lovely with many paintings/prints/ornaments to admire, lots of books on all topics to read, with a cosy sitting room for guests. Breakfast and evening dinner are wonderful, and plenty of it! If you like home cooked food made with fresh produce then you certainly get it here. Anne is a very good cook. The Mills are warm and friendly and make your stay a lovely experience. We left vowing to return, and that says it all. Fernyrig nestles in the heart of the countryside surrounded by wildlife, with perfect peace and tranquility.
