This was the most amazing experience. From our room on the 4th floor we had a clear view of the Eiger. Just breathtaking. The staff was fabulous. Pool great. beds super comfy. We had 2 rooms since our children were with us. Both rooms, while different, were beautiful. The breakfast was superb. We chose this hotel for our last night before our hike specifically since it recevied such good reviews. SO happy this is where we stayed.

Room tip: 4th floor with a view. Best ever!

I'm Raphael Kang who I stayed Hotel Eiger Murren few days ago. This comment is written as soon as I came home, because of unforgetting impression from this hotel. I love travel around world, so I visited hundreds of hotels until now. But this is one of the best hotel I have ever been to.
Location of hotel is perfect. Just several meters from Murren station (but very calm. It's so small station). If you call to hotel previously, luggage service is possible. And room is clean, convenient and careful(all equipments are perfect). Every time when I went to hiking or swimming pool, I met a new clean room. Bed and pillow is very very comfortable. View from room is great! Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau is very very close and awesome. Kind staff is the proud of this hotel. Every staff who I met give "sincere and heartful" help. It is unusual thing in Europe. If you are lucky, you can get room upgrade as I received. I enjoy Half-board and every dishes are nice. if you stay on Thurdays, you can receive a wine party invitation(free and very pleasant!). And thanks to celebrating my birthday.
Well, Murren is very small village, but there is great Mountain and a great happy hotel!
When I come back again, I hope that all these kind staffs and good things won't be changed.
See you next time!

Room tip: all rooms that you can see Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.

My wife and I and two kids stayed at Hotel Eiger for four nights in mid-August. It was probably the best place I've ever stayed. A good chunk of that credit goes to the town of Mürren and the amazing natural beauty that surrounds it, but the Eiger itself was flawless.

We were welcomed by the owner, although I didn't know that at the time and slipped him a few francs for showing us to our room, which had champagne and orange juice waiting for us. While we checked in, the owner made sure we were aware of the various sights and activities in the area, at the same time that our luggage was being taken directly from the train (the station is across the street from the Eiger's entrance) to our rooms.

We stayed in the Enzian Suite, which had two bedrooms and bathrooms, with a shared living room and balcony. The view from the balcony and from the living room, across the Lauterbrunnen valley, was absolutely stunning. Every time we returned to the room, I'd take a few more pictures, then sit and drink in the view. The lighting and fog or cloud cover continuously changed, so I never tired of staring at the mountains.

The wifi worked well everywhere we were, and it didn't require a password, which made it that much more convenient. The included breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Housekeeping was unobtrusive and pleasant.

We ate at the restaurant once, and the food was good but not great.

Mürren is extremely pleasant, with a variety of restaurants and shops, excellent access to nearby towns and the Schilthorn, and did I mention the great views?

We spent a week hiking through Switzerland, staying at a different hotel each night. This was the nicest place that we stayed during that trip. Fantastic view, convenient to the train station, about a 10-minute walk into the downtown area. The food was great, best wine selection that we had as well. Definitely recommended

An absolute gem of a hotel. Magical location, the hotel is ideal with fantastic resources and excellent food. Key to this are the family and staff who go out of their way to make sure your stay is always a special one. Friendly, helpful and welcoming, it's no wonder so many people seem to visit over and over again. We certainly will.

Room tip: Rooms at the front of the hotel have balconies that look out towards one of the most stunning landscapes in the world.
