We stayed in St. Gallen for 2 nights as a point to visit northeast Switzerland. The Hotel Gallo was an excellent value - particularly compared to others in the city. Included in the rate was breakfast and internet - there is a small parking lot next to the hotel at an additional charge. The walk into the city was about 10 minutes. We had a very spacious room and bathroom that had been upgraded and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

A 24 room hotel. Conveniently located for the old town. The bedroom was of reasonable size with good bathroom. WiFi everywhere in the hotel. Breakfast was OK, but not fantastic. All the staff, however, were very friendly and helpful.

we had a very pleasant 1 night stay at the gallo hotel. the room was beautiful and very spaciaus, the bathroom was marveleuos, the staff was very attentive and helpfull. breakfast is a reach tasty continental breakfast served in a lovely cosy dinning room. the location is very convinient, close to restaurants and a 10 minutes walk to the main attractions.
we had a room facing the road. Inspite the fact that the hotel is on a buisy road. when the windows were closed, it was quite quiet. when some ventilation needed, it was somewhat noisy.
the botom line is that we enjoyed our stay.
