Everything seemed ok, very small, but clean room. Literally no frills, similar to something you would assume should cost around 59€/69€ a night, but is more than double, even triple this. I was ok until my partner told me the price we paid and then I felt taken advantage of. That bad.
The bathroom, well, has no bath and the toiletries are very tiny and a one for all product. CHEAP. No conditioner or lotion, not even a bar soap, just 2 bottles of all in one liquid soap. These bottles were made of hard plastic and extremely difficult to get the gross product out of.
The following two mornings we ate at the breakfast buffet which was included in our high price so we thought it would be full of delicious Swiss meats and cheeses. We thought wrong. It was very skimpy, basic items and it was apparently first come first serve. We were quite punctual each day, arriving around 9:30 for the service, which ran until 10:30, but so little food.
I politely asked if we could have some more of the deli meats, auf Deutsch of course, and the gentlemen was very frustrated. We were made to feel as though we should finish off the hardened leftovers of the previous guests and then swiftly leave at 10:30.
Now when you arrive as we did and read the information on the property, it is run by the church I believe, and some of their service staff have disabilities. I strongly support the idea, but I'm on a very pricey vacation and I expect more for my money and great service. It just didn't seem fair, for what they provided, it should not be more than 69€ per night and that's that. Sorry there are no photos of this property.
