We chose this hotel in part due to its "Top Value" designation on Trip Advisor. For the price, I was expecting something a little nicer. The room was basic and a little run down; there was mold in the shower and hairs on the bedspread. The free wireless internet was so slow that it was practically useless. The breakfast offerings were pretty low quality. The hotel reception was friendly and helpful. The location was fine for exploring Umbria by car, but there was not much of anything interesting within walking distance.

My wife and I checked in for 2 days and stayed here as our home base while touring around Perugia, Cortona and Assisi. The hotel is very clean and has internet access. The breakfast is included and is delicious!! They put out a very large amount of food and a great variety. The room has roll down shades for complete darkness if desired and it is very quiet. For the price, it is a fantastic hotel with great value! We thoroughly recommend it and will stay here again if we are in the area.

Getting from the train station to the bus station and then from the bus station to the hotel was a bit difficult. Having the wrong address (75 C instead of 75 O) did not make it easier but after a while we found it. -in the middle of nowhere.
The receptionist was very sweet and she tried to help us when we came to her with questions -even though it seemed she rarely undserstood our words.
The room we stayed in was nice (clean, good bed etc.) and big but unfortunately it was close to the room where the maids kept all their things and they started working at 7 am and the door was very creaky!!! We complained about it in the morning and asked them to oil the hinges or just keep the door open (so it would only creak once instead of doing it all morning) but in spite of their promise to do something about it the creaking continued....

Perugia was a beautiful hill town though and we would recommend it to evyone - you should go when their jazz festival is on otherwise it is a little empty. -And go see Lago Trasimeno it is great!
