“A gem in Perugia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

We stayed in the apartment that Hotel Morlacchi offers. It is one and a half blocks form the hotel. It is beautiful---spotlessly clean, very spacious. This a perfect location for exploring the old city of Perugia. Loriana was very pleasant to deal with. We wished we had more time---we stayed 4 nights, and each day discovered more great little spots in Perugia. Very highly recommended.

Room Tip: We loved the apartment

“nice - but noisy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 October 2011

This small hotel has a certain old-fashioned charm and is in a convenient location. The proprietors are friendly and helpful and breakfast is good. HOWEVER - noise is a major problem in the front rooms. It is near Piazza Morlacchi which contains popular student barst and the high stone walls all around mean that even a few revellers make a noise which echoes loudly. And the hotel's older windows, while adding to the charm of the place, do little to block that noise, unlike the modern double-glazed windows which many other places have. Both nights we had loud noise going on until the early hours of the morning which really spoiled the experience for us.

Internet access was not satisfactory. It was not working for some of the time during our stay and when it did work our time was rationed - two hours over two days was not enough.

Room Tip: Make sure to get a room away from the street, unless you sleep heavily and are not bothered by noise...

“A little jewel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2011

This place is very very well located and at a very honest price too.
Cozy and clean.

The people who run it are extremely kind and welcoming. They have the cutest most affectionate dog too.

The room is original with vintage furniture and the breakfast is rich.

I would definately check in again .

“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 August 2011

This hotel was in a great location, very convenient for sightseeing. The owners were most obliging and their antique furniture in the hotel is fabulous. Our room was great and very clean and the breakfast was adequate, we could always have our second cup of coffee no problem. They were most helpful regarding places to see in Perugia and surrounding district. Take the train to Spello it is worth the visit a very beautiful place especially in May when the flowers are out.

“Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the hotel. It is situated off a quiet square; a five minute walk from the main street of Perugia. What makes a visit so pleasant is the exceptional attention and friendliness of the family who own the hotel. Wife, husband, son and grandmother all make you feel most welcome and are extremely helpful. Our room was of a good size and furnished with antique and old furniture. Breakfast is included in the price. I would recommend the hotel without hesitation.
