The room was ok, needs renovation, but looks quite authentic..staff was helpful
Hotel is easy to find from the minimetro stop and is close to the main attractions of the city

At 45 Euros per night, this was certainly a bargain, located down the street from the Pinchetto MiniMetro station in the center of Perugia. That is the only positive I can think of for this hotel, as their "ceiling fan" turned out to be a cheap regular fan that worked about as well as waving a piece of paper in front of your face. In 36ºC+ heat, a ceiling fan may have helped things, but a conventional fan such as the one they placed in the room hours after check-in did nothing to improve conditions in the room. In addition, the benches throughout the city were more comfortable and had more give than the bed, which combined with the stifling heat, made it impossible to sleep. Of course, the toilet barely functioned the first day, and did not work at all by the morning. This hotel is in a phenomenal location, in a beautiful city, but needs a lot of work.

Our room was clean and the bed was quite comfortable, more comfortable than most hotels in this price range. Tiny bathroom was the main drawback, as well as some noise from other rooms (TV noise, snoring). Free password protected WiFi was a plus. Location was convenient to the old town although you do have to walk uphill for a few minutes to get there. Also convenient to the Mini Metro. Paid 50 euro for a double - great price considering the average private room price in Italy, especially during the high season. A good place to stay if you're on a tight budget.

The two best things this place has going for it are it's very low prices and central location. To be fair, they were in the middle of renovations (we were staying there in the off season) while we were staying, and so were given a small, dirty room with a not very accommodating bathroom. We had a car, and parking turned out to be a big problem. They have a pass, but there's no guarantee that a space is available. And driving to that place is a narrow street adventure. I would've been happier ditching the car a little outside the city. There was no WiFi, and the staff were not all that helpful. It's a short, but steep uphill walk to the main sights of Perugia.
