First time in perugia. We were looking for a small quaint Hotel downtawn, close to everything. Locanda is exactly what we were looking for, a small Hotel we personalized service. Rooms are very confortable, not too big not too small, just perfect for us. Priced to please, specially off season you can get a nice deal. Desk service very warm, we felt right at home.

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times now in a room overlooking the main corso. It is Perugian's oldest hotel and retains some of the real majesty of its history with beautifully decorated ceilings, tasteful art work on the walls, and wonderful antique mirrors throughout. Our room - we ask for the same one we stayed at on our first visit and have always been accommodated - has this mix as well as modern features that any traveller might require. In all, most comfortably firstly for my wife and I then additionally for our daughter, who this time graduated seamlessly from a travel cot to her own bed. Overall there is a most welcome prosaic quality to this hotel. We cannot imagine ever staying anywhere else while it retains it current qualities and heritage. Not many places like it anywhere, in the very best of ways.

The hotel is located in the middle of Corso Vannucci, Perugia main street. Nice room not too big but confortable. You can park your rental right in the next piazza Italia with a coupon from the hotel. Breakfast ok. Around the corner you will find La Taverna, a very nice place to eat. Also Medio Evo bar on the square is very charming.

The Hotel is located on the Corso, the main street of this lovely city, right downtown. Nice rooms very clean, maybe a little small. Breakfast is ok for Italian standard. What we did not like was the concierge service. The first night we asked for a good restaurant and they sent us at Altrimondo. Terrible place, on my opinion. Food without any inspiration and quite expensive. The next night we saw the sign of La taverna, around the corner from the hotel. We went down the stairs and we found the most beautiful restaurant. We asked to see the menu and we decided to stay. We had the most incredible dinner, surrounded by nice waitresses and a chef that came to our table and translated almost the whole menu for us. Excellent, and only 9 euros more then the night before. This is the only complaint that we have about Locanda. They should be more careful when suggesting a restaurant to their guests.
