We decided to stay at the San Michele for its central location in Tuscany and a 10 minute walk to the amazing midieval walled town known as the ' City of beautiful towers'.
This is a reasonably small hotel with around a dozen or so rooms all easterly facing,so you are welcomed in the morning with a wonderful sunrise followed by the distant sound of the early morning cockral.completed with the typical view of the Tuscan coutryside, which is rather stunning.
We recommend booking an upper floor room for the best view!
The swimming pool is set in a colourful garden with views.
The cotinental breakfast is not to everyones cup of tea, but is helpful on the wasteline.
We would like to thank Paola and Roberta for there friendly hospitality and valid information whenever we needed it.
