Superb view from some bedrooms, dining room and pool area of the Tuscan countryside. Food provided for room service was satisfactory but food and service in restaurant was not good, particularly if extra vegetables were ordered. There was often a shortage of items for breakfast, especially when coaches had stayed overnight. Don't even try the orange juice - most people left theirs. The swimming pool area and sunloungers were good and the area was filled with the beautiful aroma of jasmine. The double premium room was large with areas for sleeping, sitting, dressing and bathing. However during our 4 day stay there was a vase of dirty water left in bedroom with no flowers. 10 minute drive from San Gimignano and a useful shop in between to stock up with drinks and snacks. Did an excellent tour of the Brunello wine area from the hotel.
