“A very pleasant and friendly agriturismo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2010

We stayed for 6 nights in mid-october. We enjoyed the country very much, landscapes, villages, towns. The agriturismo's location is close to the principal sites- Lucca, Pisa, Firenze, Siena and of course San Gimignano! And also, San Miniato, a beautiful village indicated by Donatella.
Tuscany is also a good place for trekking, and we tested two nice walks, one around Greve in Chianti and another one close to San Gimignano. (Forest is a paradise for mushrooms collectors)
And of course dont miss the dinner "alla casa". Typical toscan specialities, cooked by Antonella that you can appreciate accompagned by the different wines produced by Le Tre Stelle. And it is imperative to finish all the dishes otherwise, Maria will be unhappy.... ;-) But it's not too much difficult as everything is really delicious !
Grazie mille a Donatella, Antonella et Maria per la vostra cortesia et la vostra ospitalità. Il nostro soggiorno in "Le Tre Stelle" è stato piacevolissimo.
Proverò a migliorare il mio italiano per la prossima volta !

“Great people, great food, great wine and great atmosphere”

We stayed for 6 nights with our 11 months old baby.
Maria, Donatella and Antonella were amazing! The rooms were clean and tidy, the house felt warm and very homey, the pet pig and the other animals were a great attraction to our baby.
We took the dinner offer every night - 4 course dinner, totally different dishes every night. The dinner was big(!), tasty, unique and with great atmosphere with the owners joining us at the table. The great wine kept pouring into our glasses, and we felt great we didn't have to drive after it, but only go one floor up and drop into the warm bed...
The location is one of the best in Tuscany, not more than one hour drive to the most common sights.
The only missing thing was the central heating that was not working yet at nights (still too early in the autumn), but the owner gave us electrical heater instead.
Don't forget to ask for the winery tour...

“A perfect slice of Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2010

I have always wanted to stay in an agriturismo in Tuscany. I imagined it like staying with your long-lost Italian Nonna. Le Tre Stelle did not disappoint. The hospitality, food, and wine were excellent. I enjoyed sitting at the breakfast and dinner table like a big family, surrounded by the "pet" pigs, chickens, and geese. It was like a dream opening the window in the morning when the rooster crowed to look over the vineyards and olive groves. Thanks Maria and Donatella for the wonderful stay and delicious cooking!

“Perfect combination- great food, great location and great people”

Our family of six stayed with Donatella and her mother at Le Tre Stelle this August. We all enjoyed our stay because of the warmth and genuine love that Le Tre Stelle bestows. We arrived late in the evening and felt welcome right from the start. Our four children enjoyed the pigs, chickens, roosters and goats. They also loved the pool and wondering through the vineyardl! You must stay for dinner. For a reasonable price, the 4-5 course dinner is superb! What cooks they are! Breakfast is very good as well. The farm's location is close to many sights - Lucca, Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Siena. Do not miss San Gimignano! Our rooms were a bit warm since the bedrooms are not air conditioned but that is what you get when you travel in August. Great windows and we even had a large terrace and kitchette off one of our rooms. We loved Le Tre Stelle!

“Really enchanted by this Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 July 2010

My wife and I just returned from the farmhouse "le tre stelle".It was a wonderful week. Generous hospitality and kindness from Maria, Donatella and Antonella. They like cooking and preparing homemade dishes made. With local fresh ingredients.Good wine and dive oil servied white eating as much as desired. Perfect who wants to taste the true Tuscany kitchen. Surely we are planning to visit again as soon as possible.
