My fiancee and I stayed at this hotel in December for 6 days. It is a great location - half a block from the Duomo - can't be beat if you want to soak up the sites. We were in room 101 (inside room, no view) - good size room. Given the proximity to the Duomo, its bells will wake you up around 8am on weekdays. However, after the first day we were not bothered and given the walking we were doing, mostly slept through it. Sonia and her family owns this place and they run it like a well-oiled machine. Don't forget to ask them their recommendations on what is important to you. We were happy to get their advice on shopping, Pisa visit, leather, restaurants and were not let down. A block behind the hotel (on Via Corso) is a small coffee-bar operated by two older gents and a young woman. We had fresh donuts and coffee at this bar everyday and we liked it so much that we went for a pizza dinner with wine and beer one evening.....very nice people. All things considered very good value if you want to be close to the Duomo and the sites. Thank you Sonia, Pablo and Mr M.
