Myself and a friend travelled around Italy and this was the nicest hotel we stayed in by a mile!! I would love to go back

I stayed here For business and was upgraded to a suite when I checked in. This is a really nice policy the hotel has for female guests, and a wonderful welcome to an excellent hotel. The Room had a small balcony with a great view over the square out front and the adjacent church. The suite was actually large enough to easily accommodate a family of 4, and the very well equipped. The breakfast was served buffet style with an enormous choice available to suite most tastes. The hotel is well located for the exhibition venue at the Fortezza and which can be reached on foot in about 10 mins.

We chose this hotel blind-folded, and exceeded our expectations.
Better location than expected: close to the train station (on of the reasons for choosing was coming by train from Venezia), it is also real close to tha impressing Cathedral, where the must-see city begins. You can make mostly everything walking, two streets from the real stuff, at a better price (not cheap, though, less expensive, and it´s worth).
Good rooms, comfortable interiors, good restaurant (but expensive), with incredible looks and enviroment.
Adjacent to the station you can take the Tourist Bus, useful to see some remote places.
Also close to the Hotel there is a Church (Santa Maria Novella, gives the name to the square, Saint Mary the New) that let me sincerely recommend a visit, even a fast visit, even considering you have to pay to go in. You enter and tell my about the surprise, and if you can stand the beauty. Better not be informed, just find out.

Located about half a block from the main train station and within easy walking distance to all the sights of Florence this hotel was a fabulous place to stay. The rooms were of good size with plenty of room to spread out your traveling gear/suitcase etc. Ensuite bathroom was beautifully clean and towels were of good quality. Free internet provided which was fast and reliable. We had a room that overlooked the inner courtyard and it was very quiet even with the window open. Very handy that there was a self service laundry about 3 mins from the hotel, the small local buses run nearby, and there are some good restaurants just down the road. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was the 'fake' decor on the doors and walls - but hey, thats just personal taste and in no way would it stop me from staying here again.
