Il Magnifico lived up to its name, with a magnificent view of Florence out the window of our room. The location is convenient to many attractions. The room was huge and very clean. The owners were very helpful and spoke an amazing number of languages. They really tried to help you enjoy the city that they now call home.
The furnishings were simple but comfortable. The breakfast was fine for me. I liked being able to boil water for tea. There is a grocery nearby if you want anything special.
My only caution would be that there are a lot of steps to climb. This property would not be suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.

The couple who run this B&B were so lovely and really helpful. The rooms were huge, nicely decorated and very clean. They were a bit cold but there were extra blankets available. Our room (#5) had an attached bathroom which was handy. Everyone keeps banging on about the breakfast - it was fine, fairly standard for Italy. No cooked breakfast but it did the job! The free espresso was wonderful!! The location was great, very close to all the sights. Would definitely stay here again!!

Upon our arrival, Letizia, was very helpful in giving us directions and advice. She and Alain were both very helpful and thorough. Even provided us the best room with an impeccable view of the Arno River, Duomo, and City. We were so pleased with our massive room that we spent the first night in Florence mostly in our bedroom. It was such a magical place that my now fiance proposed to me right here in this room of the B&B. I think that in of itself speaks volumes of the type of stay this little gem truly is. It's more than central to all of your main sites, quiet, charming, comfortable, and spacious. They provided us with individual housecoats, bottle of wine, and a simple breakfast. To top it off, they even cleaned our rooms! Great value, Super location, Excellent Hosts, and Unparalleled experience. We would not hesitate to return! Thanks again.

This is one of the best places I have stayed in Italy. The lodgings themselves are simple, nothing fancy, but the location is top notch, right across the Arno river from the historic downtown, with a great view out of our window of the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The owners were super helpful, giving us great tips on where to shop and eat, all of their recommendations were great! We would definately stay here again, as it is just a few minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio, maybe five minutes to the Uffizi, and less than ten minutes walk to the Duomo. The may be fancier places, but there cannot be a better value in all of Florence.
