We were here for one night as part of a cycling group. The hotel is perched on the edge of the hill overlooking the valley, and views from parts of the hotel are fantastic (including the breakfast room and the gym). It's located right next to one of the main streets, but not in a noisy area. Our room was facing inward and was a bit of a dungeon, not because the room wasn't nice (it was), but because the windows were small and near the ceiling. If you can, get a room on the valley side. I presume these have views, but I never checked. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stay again if I'm ever back in Cortona.

We stayed two nights and were very satisfied with this hotel. It was clean, convenient, reasonably priced, and offered a wonderful view. The breakfast was good as well, although the lady who handled it could have been more diligent.

What a magical place...the rooms were small be very adequate...the view from our balcony was out of a romance novel! Breathtaking view of the valley, flocks of really "cute" birds...the beautiful cathedral on the hill side...oh my...just perfect! The service was excellent...very attentive and friendly throughout. the breakfast room was sunny, bright, the same beautiful view and the food was wonderful! Our entire stay of 6 days was wonderful. Did take a little getting used to that the floor our room was o n was 4 and it was down!! Added to the flavor! Highly recommended!!

The view from our room of the valley below was awesome. There are small birds in Cortona---I think Swifts---that fly overhead constantly making a nice sound. Looking out our balcony at this view with the birds flitting about was wonderful. The rooms are small but fine. The location of the hotel is perfect---walking distance to the main street. We visited all the hill towns but Cortona was my favorite.
