We have been staying here since 2001 and just returned from our 4th trip to the Villa. Each time it is like coming home! Villa di Piazzano is a cut above any hotel we have visited in all our travels. It has history, beauty, ambiance, service, and location but most of all heart. The owners and staff provide a quality level of care and attention in an atmosphere of charm and relaxation. We enjoyed a wonderful 25th anniversary celebration at the Villa with 12 of our friends and family and created a memory that none of us will forget. Great place to stay in Southern Tuscany. Excellent hiking nearby. Lovely staff. Highly recommend.

The serenity and warmth of Villa Piazzano is hard to beat in Tuscany. It is a beautifully maintained estate with walking paths, gardens and a pool for relaxation. Our room in the newer building was spacious and the bathroom was huge and pristine. The king-sized bed itself was super comfortable. Being close to Cortona (10 min) is a big plus...Cortona is a charming hilltop town with a great restaurant - LaBuccacia.

Everything was perfect except for the quality of the bed.
