“Our dream wedding come true!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2010

We planned an intimate June wedding at the villa. During our four day stay, the villa owners and staff couldn’t have been more accommodating or welcoming to our friends and family who filled up the entire hotel. We all felt right at home from the minute that we arrived and the villa itself exceeded all of our expectations. The food, accommodations, and over the top tranquil atmosphere made for the perfect setting for our dream wedding. Although rain deterred us from having our wedding out in the garden, the villa pulled together our ceremony and reception inside without skipping a beat making our wedding perfectly unforgettable.

“"enchanting, we sipped champagne under a tuscan sun"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2010

What an absolute gem. The location, villa itself, the gardens, staff and food - simply amazing !
The villa was recommended to us by a friend and when I viewed the details of the villa on-line it took my breath away, but honestly the website pictures don’t do the villa justice. It is so much more beautiful in real life. We stayed for 9 days and sure enough I began to call the villa home and because of this I thoroughly recommend the villa to anyone looking for a place like home but with the comforts of a very well run and organised hotel. Honestly, the location of the villa and surrounding vistas are spectacular and the tranquillity calming and soothing. To our hosts, Alessandra, Adrianna, Damien and little Lisa - thank you sincerely for the most enchanting 9 days. To staff that helped with our excursions and sometimes mindless questions, Ruth, Francesca and Lorella - we are so very grateful.
See you in 2011.
‘grazie mille’

“"We returned to paradise"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 July 2010

Having stayed at the Villa once before we were absolutely satisfied that we would return. Three years later, and we find everything is exactly the same! Same staff, same furniture, same location. The only slight downfall is that the food was not as good as it was the first time however this may be down to the fact that they were a bit busier. I think the staff deserve particular mention they made the experience amazing for us and I think that is why they do such a good business.

“Quiet, Elegant, Friendly, Accommodating, Lovely Tuscany Villa!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2010

In planning our 30th Wedding Anniversary trip to Italy, I carefully reviewed a multitude of places to stay for our Tuscany segment. Our decision for Villa di Piazzano far exceeded our hopes and dreams. We stayed in a deluxe "Casina delle Rose" room, which turned out to be a stone cottage set apart from the Villa! What a pleasant surprise! Way beyond a mere deluxe accommodation! So quiet, private, peaceful. Birds were singing, including a cuckoo birds, which was very pleasant. Allessandra, the owner, and Lorella, who welcomed us, were charming, delightful, and extremely helpful from our planning stages to our farewell. The breakfast spread is top notch! On our Anniversary, we came back from Assisi to find a bottle of champagne, a rose, and a congratulations note in our room! So thoughtful! On our last morning, Allessandra gave us a tour of the wine cellar and shared stories of the history of the villa. I could go on and on about the wonderful experience, but you will just have to see for yourself. Words just don't do justice to Villa di Piazzano.

“Under the Tuscan Sun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 May 2010

We had the pleasure of staying at the Villa Di Piazzano and it exceeded our expecations. The Villa is surrounded by mountains and located in secluded area within 10 minutes of Cortona. The rooms are nicely appointed and the staff were very helpful, warm and friendly. The food was excellent - both breakfast (included in our package) and dinner (your choice to eat there). The garden and pool and surrounding areas were well manicured and very peaceful. The location is within 1 hour of San Gimilgnano, Montepulciano and several other lovely Tuscan cities. Great choice - very romantic and endearing.
