Wonderfully situated for a visit to Palermo. If you like to immerse yourself in the local scene then this the place for you. After a hard day sightseeing the surrounding area provides everything from ice cream, small shops and cafes/restaurants within a few steps. Most of the major places of interest are within easy walking distance. The apartment is quiet, well equipped, cosy and secure and the neighbours do keep an eye out for you. Mary is a most helpful and discreet host with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the place and culture. You won't go wrong here everything you could want is close at hand. Perfect for a visit to Palermo and handy for buses and trains.

With no desire to trip the light fantastic Chez Jasmine provided exactly what my wife and I needed at the beginning of September, rest and self-indulgence! It has all that is needed for self-catering, or a short walk will take you to superb bars and restaurants should the need arise (as it frequently did for us!). La Kalsa is a fascinating area to walk, and we felt comfortable wherever we strolled and welcomed by the local folks. It is comforting to know that Mary is local if needed, and in no way obtrusive.

From making our first enquiry to the rescue mission at the end when our hydrofoil was cancelled and for all the information in-between, Mary could not have been more helpful. The location of Chez Jasmine in old Palermo was so convenient and the accommodation so comfortable and presented to a such a high standard that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Chez Jasmine was perfect for our stay in Palermo - the location of the quaint apartment in the old city is ideal, close to the train and bus station with lots of options for bars and restaurants close by. The apartment comes fully equipped with everything you might need (and more!). The roof terrace provides a little oasis in the bustling city. Mary (the owner) provided us with great hospitality and lots of local information which was very helpful. Highly recommended.
