This place is great! The hotel is one water bus stop away from the train station, and two stops away from the bus station. The rooms are modest, but lovely. The staff cannot be beat. Sylvia and co. made dinner and taxi reservations for us, and sleuthed out answers to every tourist question we had. Very, very nice. As for amenities, in Venice, you don't need any of them. What matters is convenience, comfort, and helpfulness, all of which this hotel excels in!

We stayed at Ca'San Girogio on our honeymoon in early May. This was the 6th city we visted in Italy. This B&B was in a great location, close to the train station and not to far from all of the touristy locations. All of the staff (owners included) gave us incredible reccomendations that made our trip to Venice great. I highly reccomend this location and we will stay here everytime we are bback in Venice. I do reccomend that you ask for reccomendations from the staff, they will lead you in the right directions for whatever you are looking for.

Travelled to Italy with my husband and 18 year old son. We stayed for 2 nights, absolutely loved this b&b. The Owners were very helpful with restaurant suggestions, and so friendly. The room was spotless, well appointed - high ceilings and a little balcony which allowed us to view the canal. One of the best breakfasts we had in Italy. Simply magical. We WILL be back!

My partner and I stayed here for one night but wish we could have spent our entire trip in this hotel!!!

Firstly the hotel was rather difficult to locate and as we arrived late in the day at dusk we got lost a number of times before we got the right spot - all part of the fun!

The receptionist was absolutely lovely she spent so much time telling us where to eat and what to see in our short time in Venice, we were very grateful as she seemed genuine and her recommendations were spot on.

The room was small but lovely with great attention to detail. I fell in love with the bathroom and the divine Venetian tiles, I only wish we could have stayed longer!
