“We'll ONLY stay at the Ca' Bonvicini in Venice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

My Wife and I stayed at the Ca' Bonvicini in December and we couldn't have been happier. When we got off at the train station, we decided to find our own way. Big mistake, because Venice could, and should, host the Word Cup of Hide-and-Seek here, so needless to say we got lost. We called Sabina, who couldn't have been nicer, we described to her where we were and she came and found us right away!

Ca' Bonvicini is located in a perfect and quite place away from all the touristy junk, but within walking distance of the major sights. The room was comfortable and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was served to the room in the morning with croissants, rolls, yogurt, juice, and cappuccino.

Make sure you let Sabina explain to you where her favorite restaurants are, they are excellent and far away from overpriced reheated tourist slop.

As stated, we will only stay here in Venice and cannot wait to go back!

“brilliant hotel, helpful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

We had a brilliant 4 night stay at Ca' Bonvicini. Its in a great location, everything is well within walking distance (but almost everything is in Venice!). The room was beautifully decorated and so clean. Breakfast was served in the room and always delivered on time.

The staff were knowledgeable and helpful. We were given a map with highlighted areas of interest which also contained a suggested 3 day trip itinerary which we used to help plan our days sight seeing. We also tried a couple of the recommended restaurants which served up delicious food.

I would definitely recommend it to friends and family, I wish I was still there!!

“Beautiful Room, Great Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2011

The room was great and beautifully decorated. My only complaint is that I would have liked a bit more counter space in the bathroom for my make-up bag (there is a very large sink that takes up much of the surface area).

Location is very good, and breakfast is lovely. It's served in the room and there is a small table and chairs to sit at.

There happened to be a strike of the water buses the day we arrived, but Sabina thoughtfully emailed me ahead of time to advise me of this, which was greatly appreciated.

I would recommend this hotel.

“Marvelous base for exploring Venezia”

We spent 10 nights at Ca' Bonvicini. Perfect choice for us. Convenient to Rialto, San Polo, San Toma, and Cannaregio. Sabina and the rest of the staff were very helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast was good, brought to the room on time each morning. The room was nicely appointed, large and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The hotel was very clean. The location is very quiet at night, so nothing preventing a good night's sleep. We had a very nice sense of privacy in the hotel, only seeing and hearing other guests in passing on the stairs. It made us feel like we were in our own apartment! The value for the price was very good. There is a small grocery around the corner, numerous restaurants within a two minute walk. Convenient to several vaporetto stops, which makes getting around very easy. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family!

“Great location, lovely large rooms & good service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011

We were really pleased with the size of our room and enjoyed the extra bed to lounge on when we returned to break from sightseeing. Sabina was informative & really helpful. We loved their restaurant recommendations & the breakfast a was pleasant way to start our day with one less meal to seek out. Would definately recommend to others & would stay again if in Venice. Venice is expensive and I found this was really good value for money by comparison.
