My Wife and I stayed at the Ca' Bonvicini in December and we couldn't have been happier. When we got off at the train station, we decided to find our own way. Big mistake, because Venice could, and should, host the Word Cup of Hide-and-Seek here, so needless to say we got lost. We called Sabina, who couldn't have been nicer, we described to her where we were and she came and found us right away!
Ca' Bonvicini is located in a perfect and quite place away from all the touristy junk, but within walking distance of the major sights. The room was comfortable and decorated beautifully. Breakfast was served to the room in the morning with croissants, rolls, yogurt, juice, and cappuccino.
Make sure you let Sabina explain to you where her favorite restaurants are, they are excellent and far away from overpriced reheated tourist slop.
As stated, we will only stay here in Venice and cannot wait to go back!
