Simple, honest accommodation. Our room was serviced every day, air-conditioned and comfortable. Breakfast was fine with no shortage of Italian croissants, cereals, yoghurts and unlimited fresh coffee. Staff was very helpful, spoke excellent English and French (under new ownership and working very hard!)

I went to Venice alone to see the Biennale, and I stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel is clean, tidy, silent and comfortable. The staff is very helpful, pleasant and happy.

The vaporetto is a few minutes away, you can easily reach to San Marco square and the Biennale locations. Or you can choose to walk, wandering around narrow streets, pretty little bridges of Venice, small shops and you can reach to Biennale locations in about one hour or so.

The area is very quiet, you won't be disturbed by outside noises. There is a good bookshop just outside the hotel. There are two supermarkets nearby (one of them is called BILLA). You can reach the railway station in 15 minutes by walking.

There isn't a restaurant in the hotel, for it is a small hotel that has 10 rooms, but that's okay, there are lots of places to eat out nearby. The place for the breakfast is small, but it is enough for all the guests, and again it is very tidy and clean. There isn't a swimming pool or a spa, it is what you can call a nice budget hotel in Venice. (If you are looking for some luxury then you need to try somewhere else.)

There is WI-FI. You can buy a certain amount of time (there are many options) to use the internet at the reception, and it is not expensive.

I loved everything about this hotel, so I plan to stay there again for the next Biennale! =)

Have just returned from Venice staying at the Hotel Eden. The location of the hotel was perfect a 10 minute walk from the Rialto bridge made everywhere easily reachable but it was far enough out to avoid all the hustle and bustle of st mark's square. The staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke very good English. We felt very welcome from the moment we checked in. We had a lovely view of a canal from our room, which was very clean and fresh. We will definitely come back to Hotel Eden and would recommend it to anyone else going to Venice

The hotel was well located and within 15minutes from the train station. Breakfast is good and sufficient by Italian standards. The room was quite small but decent. In any case, we spent most of the day outside so it was not really an issue. We went in spring and the weather was still quite cold, especially at night. The heater did not work and we were not sure whether it was centralized heating. In any case, if you are going in winter, good to check for a usable heater. I was grateful for a supermarket (Billa) nearby to get fruits and toiletries as I needed them. I booked my reservation through hostelsclub. However, Hotel Eden stopped working with hostelsclub after I paid the deposit and booking fee to hostelsclub which is required upon reservation. Hostelsclub promised to refund my deposit to Hotel Eden as they could not pay me directly. They never did so I had to pay the amount in full when I checked into Hotel Eden. It was not a big amount but I was disappointed with Hostelsclub and would not use their service again
