“Super Service and Small very faliliar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

I am a consulatnat and hove to stay about 150 nights per year in a hotel. Normally I avoid this for my vacations but Ca Amadi is really great it is a small Hotel just 6 rooms and very familiar. The Rooms are huge and very comfortable and ice designed. We directly booked angain for our summertrip. The breakfast is italian style and good. We could choose any kind of eggs which are fresh made for us.
We had the room to the Canal where the boats where crossing and due to the fact that there is a corner they had to use the horn. We waked up for it but only for seconds due to the good bed.
The Employees are very kind and kean to assist in any question. We had great advices for good Restaurants.
We felt like visit friends instead of staying in a Hotel.
We will be back for sure.

“Excellent stay!”

Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious rooms at a very reasonable rate. Beautiful ceilings. Good breakfast. Located near Rialto bridge and St Marks' Square. After a very rude reception at Hotel Marconi, this was a wellcome stay. They helped us with a room when we were stranded on a Saturday night due to a scam by the other hotel.

My wife and I were very happy to find Ca' Amadi. This beautifully restored 15th century building is Ideally located near Rialto bridge and is just a short walk from it. The room was spotless, decorated with taste and very comfortable. High ceilings and beautiful wood made it warm. Valentina the hotel manager is a pearl. She was very helpful in assisting us with all of our requests and made us feel right at home. We really enjoyed the freshly cooked scrambled eggs in the morning a very nice change from the hard boiled we had every where else during our trip. The only shortfall was that we only had two nights at Ca' Amadi, wish we could have stayed longer in this lovely home away from home. It was worth every penny!

“Absolutely Delightful!”

We just returned from a four night stay at Ca’ Amadi and found it absolutely delightful! This is our sixth trip to Venice and I think we have finally found a home away from home that we will return to again and again.

Having stayed in rental apartments, four star hotels, and budget-minded, but nice, establishments in Venice, we came across Ca’ Amadi in a random Trip Advisor search, and boy, am I glad we did! As others have stated, it is perfectly situated just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, a central location to all the sights in Venice, and was very easy to find, even at night as the way was well lit (hint to first time Venice visitors, look up on the corners of the buildings for street names or signs).

The guest house itself is a Venetian treasure; from the very Venetian dual chandeliered reception salon to the Venetian themed rooms with modern bathrooms, Ca’ Amadi is everything you imagine a room in Venice would be, but the real treasure is the staff. We were greeted by Sonia upon our arrival who was lovely and very helpful, recommending restaurants and things to do off the beaten path as we had been to Venice so many times and had already seen the usual sights. Valentina was equally as lovely and helpful, offering her own suggestions as well as answering any questions we had. She really has done wonders with the place, it was immaculately kept, and breakfast was a welcome surprise: Excellent coffee, a selection of fruit, yogurt, granola, cereal, slices of cheese, ham, salami, breakfast breads, and scrambled eggs upon request! Something for everyone.

We had one of the double standard courtyard rooms (106) and while not the largest room there, it was plenty for the two of us and it was very comfortable and quiet.

Ca’ Amadi is a little gem tucked into a quiet courtyard in the middle of the bustling city and we can’t wait to return. A big thank you to Valentina, and Sonia, and the rest of the Ca’ Amadi staff for making our visit so pleasant!

“Perfect!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2011

This hotel was the best hotel experience we had during our trip to Italy. Upon arrival, the young man at the front desk was extremely helpful and sweet...even making a dinner reservation for us. The place is very clean and well-kept. It is in a great location, just a short walking distance to all of the main attractions. Breakfast was great as well, as they always kept the buffet well stocked...there was a great breakfast attendant that made sure you had everything you needed. The cappuccinos were to die for!!! Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone...great staff, location and beautifully decorated rooms.
