“Location!!!Price!!!Breakfast!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

Wow! Location was perfect! The price was even better which made this hotel a winner. The room was nice, small, but that is common in Europe in general. The breakfast was the best! We stayed in many hotels in Italy during our two week visit and this was by far the most yummy and well stocked when compared to the others. However, read the fine print : Internet is only free for the first hour. I know we didn't come to Venice to be on the internet, but when it said free internet, you expect for it to be free, the entire time. We did bring our two dogs with us (1 medium and 1 large), they were not happy and did give us a hard time, but I emailed them before we booked and told them we were coming with dogs so it shouldn't have been a surprise when we showed up with them. Anyways, it ended up not being a big deal however, the staff were very rude to us the entire trip. Overall, I would return, even with poor service because you cannot beat the price and location, just probably without the dogs.

“Location ! Location ! Location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 December 2011

We visited Venice again this year and once again stayed at the Hotel Noemi. This boutique Hotel is located within a 2 minute walk to St. Mark's Square and a less than 10 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge. The Hotel is beautifully decorated in typical Venetian style. Pay attention to the details...There is a spectacular hand blown glass hand rail as you enter the hotel on the first floor, as well as a Venetian chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Details are beautiful. Anyone who has been to Venice knows that hotels can be very pricey. The Noemi is very reasonbly priced and clean! The cost of the room includes a delicious continental breakfast, with fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses and meats. This time we stayed in a spacious room which had a queen size bed and twin bed, a period desk and armoire, and a well appointed bathroom. When you realize where you are located, there is no comparison with other hotels. You will be very happy!

Room Tip: Our room was on the first floor and suited us quite well.

“Excellent for the price and position”

Weve stayed there 4 times now and will continue to go there. Your close to San Marco and very inexpensive. Rooms are small but very Venetian.

“I would stay there again”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2011

It was my first time in Venice. We took the water bus from the airport to Piazza San Marcos. Since we had good directions we were able to find the hotel easily. It is really situated at 100 meters from the square.

The room is small but comfortable. The only problem was the shower - VERY TIGHT. I am not a small person, so bath time was a difficult. A little more space to move under the shower would be nice.

Breakfast was simple but good (no hot dishes). Also, they could extend the breakfast hours a little. If I record right, it is only from 7:30 to 9:00

I believe that they could make better signs. You feel lost when you go in the door and don´t see any signs. You have to go up to the second floor to get to the reception desk.

We left by train to Florence and walked to the water station by the Rialto Bridge. It is also close.

Overall, to walk around Venice the hotel is very good. I would stay there again if we visit Venice one more time.

Room Tip: The lower the better - there is no elevator.

“OK in a pinch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2011

I spent six nights in a single room at Hotel Noemi in September 2011. I booked my room six weeks in advance of my arrival and found that Hotel Noemi's rates were 75% less than any other hotels in Venice that had available rooms. The location is great - close to all of the major sites. My single room was small, but adequate. If you're looking for a place to park your stuff and explore Venice, Hotel Noemi is fine. If, on the other hand, you're looking for a relaxing place to spend some time, I'd suggest other hotels. The room was dark and small, but clean and relatively quiet. Breakfasts were better than expected based on the reviews here, but my expectations were very low.
