“Exceptional service! So friendly! Location perfect!”

Can't recommend this hotel enough! Right in the heart of Venice! Bruno who owns the hotel! Couldn't be nicer! He loves what he does! We had the perfect stay!

“Impeccable service”

We had the main suite for the first night of our honeymoon. We arrived to a beautiful display of champagne chocolate and petals with a lovely hand written card.

Our room

Located on the ground floor at first put me off until I realised it was due to the private sitting room with opening bay windows overlooking the Rialto bridge.

The room was well heated and very quaintly decorated. My only complaint on the room was the mattress was very hard, not just hard very very hard.

The staff / managment / owners of whom seem to take 4 hour shifts on reception all could do no more to be helpful and courteous.. We where only in Venice for the one night before moving on and with there guidance we managed to achieve all the major tourist traps and secure a booking at a lovely recommended restaurant.

Location wise could simply not be better located to all the major sites.

Would stay again and it deserves it's status as one of Venice's best hotels.

“Magical!”

We stayed here for 3 nights in the Junior suite. Expensive - but well worth every penny!

Service was friendly and kind. I really think if I had asked for a bevvy of mermaids to frolick in the canal for my entertainment every morning, they would have tried their best to arrange it! Such nice people.

Breakfast was great, excellent choice - my favourite was the banana and chocolate pancakes! The dining room/bar is beautiful, although I understand in summer guests eat on the terrace looking over the bridge, which must also be lovely.

The junior suite is stunning - opening directly onto the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. The room was beautifully furnished and very large. The bathroom was quite small (for a suite) but perfectly clean and functional.

Put simply, I cannot rate this place highly enough. Quite possibly it's the best hotel I have ever stayed in and we very much hope to go back one day!

From the moment you arrive at their private dock to when you depart they will take care of you in sublime style. Friendly and warm staff day and night. Charming breakfast/afternoon drink room overlooking the canal and Rialto Bridge.
Centrally located.
Boutique feel.
The place to stay. Only nine rooms so book early.

Room Tip: Inner rooms back up to other apartment buildings but still have plenty of windows

“Brilliant”

I stayed here recently with my 12 year old son. From the moment that we arrived by water taxi we were treated to the best service that I have ever experienced. This family run hotel as adjacent to the Rialto Bridge and entered via a quiet little lane. Everything that the Matteo, Bruno and their family recommended was spot on. Whether it be an early morning visit to the fish market, riding the canal bus from St Marco for the full length of the canal or the best places to eat they were always full of great suggestions. When we arrived I asked them if they could suggest any tours that we should do. They gave me a small map and gave me a basic outline of Venice and said we suggest that you go and get lost in Venice. We did just this and it was amazing. Every turn was a new discovery and no matter how far you walk you're no more than 15 minutes from the hotel. Quiet often you find that you have been walking in cicles. Breakfast is an event in itself. Rosetta treats you like you were a part of her family and wont let you leave until you are full. I recommend that you leave the choice of dish up to Rosetta. I did this and she prepared me an amazing Venetian breakfast each morning. The staff are super helpful without being over the top. The building is a 14th century castle and is beautifully decorated. Rooms are comfortable and warm enough. If you are visiting Venice then staying here is a must. Don't plan anything else as Matteo will arrange everything for you when you arrive. These guys are amazing.

Room Tip: Although I was concerned about visiting in January the locals said that this was the best time to vi...
