Opened only a few months ago, this boutique hotel is a wonderful experience in so many ways. From the time we booked in and met Stefano, the manager, we had a fabulous stay. The room was huge; we were sharing a twin room. From the ceiling in our room hangs an amazing modern work of art; a Venetian glass chandelier made especially by artisans in Murano for Ca dei Polo. Our clothes were stored in an antique cupboard of beautiful inlaid wood.
The hotel feels like you are staying in a private home of welcoming, friendly hosts. Upstairs on the second floor is a grand dining room with huge windows looking over the canal. Opposite is a trattoria; it all feels like you are living as a Venetian (even if it is only for a few days).
Breakfast is tasty and includes pastries, cereals, meats, cheeses, boiled eggs and as many coffees as you need to start your day of walking this wonderful city.
Thank you Francesca and Stefano, we highly recommend your hotel and will definitely stay with you again.
Well positioned between two vaporetta stations and an easy walk from the station after arrival by train. Stefano is a font of knowledge and is a most charming host.
We were especially spoiled with champagne and presents on New Years Eve.
Room Tip: Every room is gorgeous.
