“Great Value, Roomy and Vintage”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2010

We were worried about this hotel as some of the reviews weren't very good, however we were very pleasantly suprised. The rooms were very spacious and clean, however we had a dozen lady birds on our window sill, though they were cleaned the next day. There was a bus stop right outside the hotel which was convenient. You need to get the number 6 bus from the airport to the train station then the number 10 to the hotel. Costs 2 euros per ride but you can buy tickets at the hotel for 1 euro each. The staff were pleasant and helpful when needed. The 'double bed' was just 2 singles pushed together. Venice is easy to reach with the number 10 bus to train station and then you can get a return train for about 4.90 euros to venice. REMEMBER TO VALIDATE YOUR TICKET. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The main positives was the big rooms, ease of getting places and the room and bed was clean. The only negative was the rooms were very warm, no air conditioning it seemed, made it difficult to sleep. For the price, it is a great hotel to stay at.

“Dont make a mistake like I did”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2010

The bad reviews about this hotel are very true and when you experience them in real, you highly regret for not listening to the poor guests who were nice enough to warn others. I feel this hotel should be fully refurnished as the beds are broken, mattresses and carpet smell disgustingly and all the other tables, cabinets, lamps and windows need a full repair. They also require new management where the staff is trained how to be atleast nice to guests. I too had a row with Mr.Roberto at reception and I cant believe how massively rude he is to all the guests at several occasions. Its true you do feel like living in a refugee camp where you also have to tolerate the staff's mood swings and the lovely answer "no" to everything. I paid money where I could have added few bucks and got myself a better deal in the heart of Venice. U cant enjoy night life outside Treviso as the last bus near the hotel leaves at 8pm. I would advise to choose another hotel and dont fall for the low price gimmick...

“a very clean and reasonably priced hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2010

We have just returned from a few days staying at this hotel and we were concerned about the reviews, and so thought we would give our opinions. The hotel does look a little like a block of flats from the outside, however, as soon as you enter you realize this is a good hotel, a nice reception, with lift to floors, The rooms were small, however they were very clean and changed daily with towels and bedding, as was the shower and loo. the price was great too, as we shopped around the sites and found a single/double from hotelsclick.com for a mere £19 per night, a great hotel for a even better price. The number 10 bus stops outside, across the road which will take you into treviso for a mere 1 euro, if the ticket is bought from the reception.. Next door is a restaurant which served good food at an ok price, sadly no one smiles!!!
On the negative side, the bar at this time was closed at all times, and the breakfast is minimal, to say the least, but for £19 what do u expect, well alot more as most were paying the normal £50 per night, but overall, highly recommended and will be returning

“WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER SEEN”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

I've traveled my whole life & I have never ever been to a worst hotel than this. The rooms were horribly dirty, smelly & outdated. You can hear hair dryers from other rooms all night. Breakfast items like yougarts & cheese were hidden when guest numbers would increase. The only answer you would hear from the staff is NO. Location is outside city and you feel deserted in a jungle. The hotel owner should immediately fire very rude receipionst named "Roberto". I couldn't make a complaint as the Manager was never present leaving inadequate people in charge. One night I was using the public computer in the lobby & Roberto actually snatched keyboard from me & asked me to take his permission first as if it was his personal property. I am speechless as I have never been illtreated like this & that too by a mere receipionst. I couldn't sleep the first night as Roberto had turned off the air-conditioner in absolute heat & humidity. I have a heart condition & I woke up at 3am sweating & having chest pains. When I asked Roberto to turn on the air-conditoner for just an hr so I could sleep, he plainly refused. I felt I was not a paying guest but a refugee getting shelter!!! Roberto needs education & manners how to talk to females & that too guests of the hotel! Zaheera was the only nice person who helped us & got us a better room. She should train others about hospitality. The beds however are so uncomfortable that you wake up with backaches every morning. Overall worst experience of my life!

“RUIN YOUR STAY IN ITALY”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2010

I ruined my trip to Italy by staying at this horrible hotel. Very old, outdated, middle of no where & the rudest staff in the world. When we arrived, nobody bothered to take our luggage. The answer to every question/request was NO. We changed 2 rooms and both smelled & were not cleaned. Location was useless and had nothing worth seeing but again my trip was RUINED by chosing this hotel where air conditioners were turned off in 35C climate. You should pay a little more & stay in a real hotel in Italy. I strongly think this hotel deserves no stars & is worst than C grade motel
