Have just returned from a week long stay at The Hotel Donatello in Padua. Ideally situated approx 50mts from Basicilla Saint Anthony and 1.3km from bus and rail stations. The hotel itself has 44 rooms, some smoking if required are available but these face out onto a back courtyard and the view not very impressive. The room we stayed in was spotless bed linen & towels changed every day,cold buffet breakfast each morning was plentiful. Finally the staff from Receptionist's, Dining room staff & housekeeping were so warm a friendly and nothing was to much for them to do for us. We also travelled to Venice twice and Verona once using public transport which is superb. We will return Hotel Donatello in Padua again.

This is a very comfortable Hotel with friendly helpful staff in an ideal situation.
The rooms are comfortable and well laid out with good bathroom facilitys
Breakfast is good with ample range of choice.The location is good on the Historic square opisite the magnificent Basilica of Saint Anthony with good Restaurants close by.There is a local bus stop outside the hotel to take you to many other places of interest as this is a beautiful City with lots of interesting sights to see and a wonderful outside market full of bargains.We will certainly be back.

An amazing hotel, in the amazing, cozy Padova. The rooms are big, very clean,and with great views. Perfectly located hotel, with very good staff, and a great breakfast.

Perfect location, across from St. Anthony's basilica, 2 steps from everything else including the Scrovengi Chapel, yet you feel as if you're in a small, peaceful town. Excellent accomodations for the money; knowledgable, friendly staff.
