This is the perfect ski hotel. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, well equipped ski room with lockers for each room. Best of all André and his colleagues made us so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble including driving us to/from the lifts, arranging taxis for our evening jaunts. To me a friendly welcome means such a lot. This was my fourth time in this hotel and I will definitely be back.

The hotel is rather traditional. The service is extremily good with the owner driving you to the slopes on demand. Breakfast is very good.
Atmosphere is overall relaxing.

Trying to be objective here and find a fault. There are none. Everything is just spot on. From the first class ski and boot room, best I've ever seen, to the overall ambience, the rooms are well proportioned and designed for skiers, loads of hot water. The beds are comfy, the views amazing, the breakfasts superb and the mini bus to the lifts efficient and always ready for you. I do hope that I'll be able to return. Thanks to the owners who know just how to run a unpretentious great hotel. Well done.

I use to travel a lot for business purposes, and I spend an awful number of nights every year in hotels. What I value in a hotel is that it makes me feel as at home as possible. And I have to say that I have never felt as at home as in the Bouton d'Or. May be for that reason, this summer is the second time in a row (last year we did the same) that after completing the Tour of Mont Blanc, my wife and I decided to return to Courmayeur and spend some days getting some rest at the Bouton d'Or.

What do I love about the Bouton d'Or? Basically everything, from the cosy, ample atmosphere of the rooms and the hotel in general to the wonderful breakfast buffet in the morning. But what I love most is the way the owners treat their customers. Unfortunately, an increasing number of hotels in the world have decided to milk their clients as much as they can - exhorbitant prices for everything, even charges for opening the mini-bar!!!
In the Bouton d'Or is just the opposite. I would even say that you feel like a member of the family. In fact, they don't even ask you for a credit card to guarantee your booking. Even at the desk, while checking in, they don't ask for a credit card! For me, that means that they treat their clients with trust and respect - not like potential defaulters or thieves, and I really value it. Also, the staff is incredibly helpful and nice and kind.

Last, but not least, I mentioned how wonderful the breakfast is... well, it's even better than that!
