My husband and I stayed two nights at this hotel. We were able to get a reduced weekend rate. The hotel is lovely as was our spacious room and bath. The room was very clean and nicely decorated.The staff spoke excellent English and were always helpful. Breakfast was included and was full breakfast fare, i.e., eggs, fruit, rolls, cereal, etc. We were able to walk to all the attractions. Trento is a university town with a magnificent castle. The frescoes in the castle are NOT to be missed. The city also has fine restaurants as well as small cafes. The city is off the beaten tourist trail and this adds to its charm. We took a day trip to Bolzano and would recommend Bolzano to anyone travelling in this area.

Although this hotel is located just outside the Centro Storico, it's location on a side street adjacent to a park is easily overlooked when searching for it by car. The basement garage is convenient, but relatively expensive (22,-€/day). Our room was well-furnished and comfortable, the reception friendly and professional. Since there was a conference in the hotel at the time, the breakfast room service was somewhat chaotic; the waitresses did their very best, but the two waiters seemed to emphasize style over speed. For city walk-arounds, the location is perfect and Trento is certainly worth a 2-3 day visit.

although not being a luxury hotel, it is "grand " enough; it might be classified as a very good business hotel;
the building architecture reminds a time of monumental ideas,
the common spaces are quite large, i understand that they have meetings, courses, official dinners;
but I have seen group of cyclists and bikers
The rooms are large, the bed is excellent; the inside architecture and furniture is classy.
Bathroom large and comfortable.
A couple of time I had my dinner at the restaurant: grand hotel food, without exaggerations.
The breaskfast is correct, the choice is enough. The service, and the waiters' (waitresses, by the way) attentions, are up to the mark.
I like to come back, which I do arounf four or five times per year.
As I arrive by train, the position is very good: across the stations square. Do not take a taxi, walk.

This hotel has not only beautiful public spaces, but good-sized, beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable. Good Internet (5 euros/day via ethernet cable). Good breakfast. Friendly staff. The bar is comfortable. Quiet at night. Well located within Trento. I would gladly stay here again.

(Orthodox Jews will want to know that the hotel uses electronic key cards, which is a problem for the Sabbath.)
