“A wonderful, relaxing hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

What a wonderful, relaxing hotel! The staff has been incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms were large, clean, and I had a wonderful view over a vineyard to the mountains. A room with a view, a place to breathe and a home away from home.

I especially liked the natural friendliness of the staff. For example, they noticed which wine we liked at the restaurant during the three days we stayed and then gave us a bottle of precisely that wine as a farewell present. How nice!

“Disappointing after reading other positive reviews”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2011

My booking was for a suite which overlooked the car park. The bathroom was very small, no tub only a small shower. For a Monday night the hotel appeared to be very busy and as a consequence I felt that the service suffered. The bar was not staffed and it proved difficult to find a member of staff to take an order. The restaurant food was acceptable and again below the standard I was expecting. The redeeming feature was the room rate which included breakfast. Service in the breakfast room was poor. One overworked waitress only filled the hot buffet with scrambled eggs at 9.00am which she had to cook herself.

“What a wonderful Hotel - should be classified as four star”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

The Hotel consits of a lovely old villa with a new extension completed in July 2011 to the site. The reception staff were extremely helpful as we spoke little to no Italian. We were given tthe choice and took the new extension, which overlooked a beautiful vine grove and fantastic vista of the mountains. The room was extremely spacious with an extra large king size bed, flat screen TV, AIr Con, tea & coffee making facilities, room safe and balcony.
The grounds are spacious and there was little to no sound of the local traffic.
The breakfast had a vast choice from basic cereals to first class cakes, the waitress service was excellent, attentive and very friendly.
You do need a car, it was no more than 2 hours drive to either Venice or Lake Como if you want ot tour the area.
Best was the friendly, helpful staff. Fanatstic accomodation and food.
If you don't have a vehicle - it would be difficult to get around although I did notice bus stops not far from the hotel.
If you do travel by car - you will need a Sat Nav to find the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony overlooking Trento in the New Extension, you also get parking in a sec...
