The Windsor hotel is more than excellent.
The hotel owners are pleasant and very welcoming!
Also the advice for the motor tour trips are very good.
The parking of our bikes was very good and safe.
The rooms (included the bathrooms) are very beautiful and modern.
Our compliments too for the breakfast.
Our stay in this hotel during 6 days was very well and we have enjoyed it!
We will come back next year!

We arrived here dripping wet after cycling 20 miles in pouring rain and might well have expected an appropriately limp and chilly reception - on the contrary, we were made very welcome, no mention made of the puddles. As well as offering very comfortable and pleasant rooms, the hotel provided a cosy bar and attractive breakfast room, a clean pool with comfortable loungers, but the best thing about the hotel is the owners, who were so helpful and friendly.
Also useful is the hotel's proximity to the town centre, an easy walk away.

Hotel Windsor is a real find in Merano. Peaceful but central and walking distance to most attractions, especially the new town spa.
Extremely pleasant and very helpful owner who even offered to take us to pick up our hire car as it was raining. Lovely pool and very reasonable.
Would definitely stay here again.
