We stayed here in May 2011. Arriving after crossing the Alps from France we were looking forward to our stay with the owner Monika. On arrival the greeting was enthusiastic and our room, one of two in a newly renovated annexe, was very impressive. Our room did not have a balcony.
Monika cooked dinner for us, and this was a good experience, although the 'dining room' in which it is served is not very atmospheric. We were charged 60 euro for the room & breakfast and 50 euro for dinner including a bottle of wine. This was reasonable for what we got.
We did not find the approach to the property, or garden area, attractive and the swimming pool was not erected while we were there. The owners are working to enhance the facilities and some building work is in progress to extend the number of rooms - this could be nice when its finished. Some facilities - like wifi - are currently only available in the main house.
Want an overnight stopover at a reasonable price with a reasonable dinner, then La Valle is OK, though we stayed at B&B's with more ambiance on our trip through France and Tuscany.
Room Tip: Ask for the new room upstairs in the annexe
