Elena and Raul provided a lovely stop between our trip from Southern France to Northern Italy. La Carolina is located in a peaceful and beautiful area of Peidmont in the heart of a fantastic wine and food region. The house and property were excellent for my two children, 7 and 4 1/2 years of age. They played in the backyard and loved running through the nearby cornfields. The gardens and home were immaculate in their upkeep and cleanliness. Elena is a wealth of knowledge regarding Italy and especially the region where La Carolina is located. Her English is fantastic! In addition to their kindness the breakfast was amazing. Homemade breads, muffins, coffee as well as meats and cheese were just a few of the options. My husband and I have already decided that we will visit Elena and Raul again; their home and hospitatlity are not to be missed!!

The surrounding area is very beautiful and quiet. Seating at the terrace and looking at the sunset, it was really fantasitc, you could only hear the birds singing around the garden. Room was very clean and excellent. Breakfast is very good and many choices, specially the home made bread & cookies.
Owner were very warm person and always smiling and willing to help. Feel likes at home. I would recommend La Carolina to anybody wanting to visit Asti.

“Great place to stay, hospitable tenants and excellent value for money”
We stayed only one night in La Carolina B&B but felt sorry that we could not stay longer. Great location, very quiet and secluded and good rooms in a very nice looking house with garden. And the owners (mr and mrs Rivella) are very hospitable and service-minded. In the morning, they serve a great breakfast and offer good tips for foreign tourist. Definitely a great place to stay and excellent value for money.
