Well, the location of the hotel is good. Near the centre, a metro station, trams, etc. The area around the hotel is quite nice too. On the sixth floor though, and maybe a little tricky to find at first!
Our room wasn't that great. It was opposite the owners' kitchen, therefore we could hear the TV all night until about midnight. The room smelled very smokey as if it hadn't been aired out. While the bedroom area seemed clean, the sink cove area was somewhat dirty and there was a leaky tap (which seemed to be a recurring theme in the hotel). Due to this leaky tap I think there was stagnant water therefore there were mosquitoes in the room which consequently bit me all 3 nights we stayed there. I know Milan is humid place, and in the summer I might expect this, but it was only 18c at the end of October... I was not expecting to get bitten!
Minimal english is spoken but come with a phrase book and you will be able to communicate your point with the owners.
Breakfast is included. However the owner asked me if I wanted some while smoking a cigarette which kinda put me off and so I declined.
Good price, but next time I think I might spend more just to avoid these annoyances or spend about the same and get a hotel further out, because the metro system is cheap anyway.
