this place was great. we stayed here on our honeymoon, not having visited milan before and knowing nothing about the city - it was a last minute decision to visit milan so we hadn't done any homework. We chose scala nord because it seemed to tick the boxes and was a good price, and we weren't disappointed. the room was huge, and nice.service was friendly, and breakfast was good - fresh made coffee and quite substantial by italian standards. The best part was the location. We kept trying to go out in the city, and never quite made it past all the great bars in the area. Overall we didn't have great expectations, were pleasantly surprised and would happily go back again.
