Had troubles finding it even with GPS. The hotel and the street are both new so make sure your GPS is up-to-date and mind there's another La Favorita at Mantua outskirts very far from this one! Very new hotel, nice room and shower. Wi-Fi is free and stable. B-fast is very good. Nice selection of food n drinks. Same restaurant would serve you a dinner - tasty and relatively not expensive. Nowhere to walk, only a shopping center around the corner and Grill House. All other directions would require a car. All in all very nice place to stay with good quality/price ratio.

This is a new hotel designed for business people, but perfectly acceptable for tourists who want to stay just outside Mantova and have a car. It is in a corner of La Favorita shopping center, which can make it hard to find unless you have a GPS. Look for the gray office buildings in one corner of the area and you will eventually find it. It is very very new. The room was large, included breakfast and wifi in the room. The bathroom had a very modern shower but relatively small vanity area around the sink. We had a very nice meal in the dining room; the waiter was gracious and helpful. The room is quiet. The room also had a huge balcony, but to no obvious purpose since it looked out on a currently vacant office building. Parking is right across from the entrance and there is no charge. It took about 10 minutes in 8:00 am traffic to get into Mantova and park near the castle.
How you feel about the location (see rating) depends on whether or not you want to stay in downtown Mantova. There is nothing at all "scenic" about the location.

We called in on the off chance having read previous reviews. Welcome was good checked in quickly with rate matching that on internet. Room was good size very clean. Staff helpfully told us of bus to town. Meal in restaurant was good with interesting local choices. Breakfast was typical Italian with lots of choice including cakes and sparkling wine.

The only negative thing is that you will need a car to get to the center - even if you would not mind walking 40 mins or so, the road does not really allow you to do so. That being said, all the rest is positive and you do not need to go to the center, because you can have diner in the hotel restaurant and that's quite OK. Rooms are modern and clean, there is a fitness and free internet. The pictures on the website are representing reality. For a first time, it can be a bit complicated to get there (and get away) with the mix up of the roads around it - so make sure you print a detailed map or have a recently updated GPS.
