“Lovely hotel in beautiful location”

We stayed at this hotel in September 2005 for 3 nights. Our room was beautifully decorated and had a balcony overlooking the lake. The staff were very helpful and the food (and wine) in the hotel restaurant was fabulous. An added bonus is that the hotel is owned by the Ca dei Frati vineyard which is about 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. Local buses pass the hotel which is set back on a main road but the bus system is unreliable. The advantage of staying in Lugana, which is outside Sirmione, is that there are no crowds and day trippers. Would definitely stay here again.
